Probosque ha recibido tres mil 946 árboles de navidad naturales



En lo que va del mes de enero, la Protectora de Bosques del Estado de México, ha recibido tres mil 946 árboles de navidad naturales, en sus 17 centros de acopio, así lo informó Sergio Cuevas Solórzano, Jefe de departamento de Apoyo a las Plantaciones Forestales Comerciales. 

Indicó que este programa estará vigente hasta el próximo mes de febrero, con el objetivo de captar el mayor número de árboles posible.

Indicó que este programa estará vigente hasta el próximo mes de febrero, con el objetivo de captar el mayor número de árboles posible, pues durante este 2024, se ha captado una cantidad mayor de ejemplares en comparación con el 2023. 

Y esto se debe a que la población tiene una mayor cultura de depositar su árbol en los lugares destinados para el mismo. 

A decir de Cuevas Solórzano, una vez que se tiene el ejemplar este es limpiado, es decir, se le retira metal, plástico y hasta los últimos adornos navideños, para posteriormente ser triturado y usarse como composta. 

Misma que es usada para la reproducción de nuevas especies de árboles, un proceso que puede tardar hasta cuatro años.
