Ralizan Congreso Nacional de Interculturalismo Jurídico en PJEdomex



Con el objetivo de contribuir a una construcción colectiva de un sistema de cambio, donde se refleje el multiculturalismo del país y la creación de espacios académicos donde se predomine el diálogo en temas de la impartición de justicia, se llevó a cabo el Congreso Nacional de Interculturalismo Jurídico en el auditorio de la Escuela Judicial del Poder Judicial Estatal.

En donde se dijo que en este espacio se buscarán las condiciones para que la población indígena del Estado de México, tenga acceso a la justicia, para evitar las desigualdades sociales y lograr una sociedad más democrática, a través del reconocimiento a riqueza multiétnica.

Se añadió que la Reforma a la Ley Orgánica del Estado de México, convocó a un proceso, dirigido a los pueblos indígenas, a fin de escuchar sus propuestas y que el estado tome en cuenta sus recomendaciones.

Derivado de esta análisis se llegó a la conclusión de robustecer el número de peritos intérpretes y traductores en lenguas indígenas en caso de juicio, así como abolir la discriminación racista y clasista, así como juzgar con perspectiva intercultural y crear una sala de Asuntos Indigenas.

El presidente del Poder Judicial del Estado de México, Ricardo Sodi Cuellar, detalló que la creación de esta sala, tiene el objetivo de acercarse a los pueblos originarios del Estado de México.
