Promueve GEM espacios informativos para combatir la violencia de género



En el Gobierno encabezado por Delfina Gómez Álvarez, se refuerza el compromiso de combatir la violencia de género en todas sus formas y con ese motivo ha implementado diversos programas, políticas y acciones para impulsar el bienestar de las mujeres desde todas las esferas de su vida.

Así, en cumplimiento al Programa de Igualdad de Género y Erradicación de la Violencia 2024 del Consejo de Investigación y Evaluación de la Política Social (CIEPS), 15 servidores públicos participaron en la conferencia virtual “Menstruación y Utopías”.

Esta actividad organizada por la Coordinación Jurídica, de Igualdad de Género y Erradicación de la Violencia de la Secretaría de Bienestar, que encabeza Juan Carlos González Romero, tuvo como objetivo brindar información para sensibilizar al personal de las diversas áreas que integran esta dependencia, en tenor de las iniciativas difundidas como parte del Día Naranja.

La plática informativa fue impartida por la antropóloga Victoria González y se centró en la concientización sobre los obstáculos que enfrentan las personas menstruantes en los diferentes contextos sociales, especialmente aquellas que sufren discriminación por ser pobres, reclusas e indígenas.

La ponente llamó a la acción y expresó que adentrarse empáticamente en este tipo de temas, permite crear agentes de cambio que inciden en el futuro de las mujeres con pleno respeto a sus derechos y en igualdad de oportunidades.
