Ofrece Secretaría de Salud cursos de Lengua de Señas Mexicana a personas con discapacidad auditiva



La Secretaría de Salud que encabeza Macarena Montoya Olvera, favorece la inclusión, el respeto y la comunicación de las personas con discapacidad auditiva, y por ello, ofrece cursos gratuitos de Lengua de Señas Mexicana.

A través del Instituto Mexiquense para la Discapacidad (IMEDIS), esta capacitación fortalece la accesibilidad, la equidad social y eliminar barreras de comunicación.

Así lo refieren autoridades de esta dependencia, quienes puntualizan que la enseñanza a personas sordas va desde edades muy tempranas, pero el aprendizaje varía en cada persona.

Las personas con discapacidad auditiva tienen la necesidad de manifestar emociones, necesidades e ideas, por lo que la implementación de este curso favorece la eliminación de las barreras comunicativas.

Los especialistas puntualizan que las personas sordas, en caso de tener limitaciones en el lenguaje, podrían enfrentar múltiples barreras a lo largo de su vida y educación, aunado a la carencia de intérpretes o la poca capacitación a los profesores en esta materia.
