DIFEM y Beneficencia Pública coordinan acciones en materia de salud y discapacidad



El Sistema para el Desarrollo Integral de la Familia del Estado de México (DIFEM) y la Dirección General de la Administración del Patrimonio de la Beneficencia Pública (APBP), coordinarán acciones en materia de salud y discapacidad, a través de un convenio de colaboración, para que grupos vulnerables tengan acceso a servicios de calidad.

En el Teatro Morelos de Toluca, se formalizó el convenio que permitirá conjuntar el trabajo de la Beneficencia Pública, el DIFEM y los Sistemas Municipales DIF.

Las acciones en materia de salud y atención a la discapacidad permitirán -a quienes tengan acceso a ellas- obtener su independencia al recuperar la funcionalidad del oído, la vista y la movilidad.

Entre las acciones habrá jornadas auditivas, protésicas, visuales, de movilidad, reconstructivas, cirugías bariátricas y de aparatos funcionales.

La APBP aplicará los subprogramas dirigidos a personas físicas en materia de salud, así como de atención a la discapacidad en comunidades indígenas y marginadas.

Al DIFEM le corresponderá promover la participación de mexiquenses en situación de vulnerabilidad, recabará y verificará el soporte documental de los usuarios y elaborará un informe anual sobre el cumplimiento de las metas y resultados de este convenio cuya vigencia es hasta diciembre de este año.

Las jornadas tendrán cobertura estatal, y la atención iniciará en municipios como Acambay, Almoloya de Juárez, Amatepec, Luvianos, San Felipe del Progreso, San José del Rincón, Texcaltitlán, Villa de Allende, Villa Victoria y Zumpahuacán, entre otros que cuentan con presencia indígena de alto o muy alto grado de marginación o rezago social.
