Temporada de fríos



Ya llegó la temporada de frío en la república mexicana y hay que sacar los cobijas, suéteres, chamarras y abrigos, así como gorros, bufandas, guantes, calcetines gruesos y botas. La Comisión Nacional del Agua dio a conocer que se esperan 56 frentes fríos y los estados más afectados serán Chihuahua, Durango, Ciudad de México, Puebla, Tlaxcala y Zacatecas. Para las personas estos meses de bajas temperaturas provocan infecciones respiratorias agudas, influenza estacional, accidentes por quemaduras e intoxicación por monóxido de carbono por lo que, para empezar que hay que consumir verduras y frutas, de estas últimas las que contengan vitamina C; tomar abundantes líquidos, lavarse las manos constantemente y evitar cambios bruscos de clima.

Pero la época de frío trae algunos beneficios como quemar calorías, mejorar la calidad del sueño, estimular el sistema nervioso y favorecer la longevidad.

Por otro lado, se refuerza el sistema inmunitario para combatir la exposición a los virus o cualquier tipo de elemento externo y se fortalece el corazón para bombear y trabajar más para lograr sostener el calor corporal. 

El frío se enfrenta con medidas preventivas que están al alcance de todos. Si queremos evitar problemas a la salud tenemos que prestar atención a nuestros hábitos.
