Se realiza encuentro nacional de la Danza de Arrieros en Lerma



En la comunidad de San Mateo Atarasquillo, perteneciente al municipio de Lerma se llevó a cabo el Primer Encuentro Regional de la Danza de Arrieros del Estado de México.

Organizadores y participantes indicaron que el baile de los Arrieros es parte de las tradiciones de la entidad mexiquense, de ahí que preservarla y promoverla sea eje central de los gobiernos.

En esta edición participaron Arrieros de los municipios de Lerma, Ocoyoacac, Santiago Tianguistenco, Ciudad de México, y Capulhuac.

Hay que recordar que esta danza fue declarada Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial del Estado de México, el 14 de abril de 2023, al cumplirse 201 años de su práctica.

En la entidad hay más de 100 cuadrillas que la ejecutan a lo largo del año en las diferentes fiestas patronales.
