Para este 2024 se pretende es alcanzar un crecimiento económico del 2% en Edomex






El crecimiento registrado en la economía a lo largo de 2023 alcanza apenas para equilibrar las condiciones de deterioro que ha experimentado el país desde la pandemia de Covid-19, para este 2024 la expectativa es alcanzar un 2.3 por ciento a nivel nacional y alrededor del dos por ciento en el estado de México.

Andrés González Esquivel, presidente del IMEF Grupo Estado de México señaló que las proyecciones económicas a nivel nacional incluyen la generación de alrededor de 600 nuevas fuentes de empleo y 525 mil para 2025, mientras que el tipo de cambio mantendrá una condición cercana a  18.62 pesos por dólar lo que se establece como un elemento positivo para el desarrollo empresarial internacional.

El experto señaló que en este momento se hace importante generar una serie de mensajes positivos y de estabilidad para la atracción de inversiones y generación de competitividad por lo que la serie de anuncios en materia de ampliación de los periodos vacacionales y la reducción de la jornada laboral juegan en contra.

“En este sexenio el estado de derecho se ha deteriorado y el hecho de que el Gobierno esté buscando eliminar los organismos autónomos y reguladores está afectando a la inversión”.

Otro de los puntos a considerar, dijo, es la necesidad de contar con finanzas públicas sanas ya que al momento se ubica en el 5 por ciento cuando lo deseable es un uno por ciento.

En materia de Nearshoring, dijo aún cuando es un evento en que se tiene gran expectativa, el estado de México sólo representa el 3 por ciento de los capitales que llegan a México.
