Ocupación Hospitalaria por pacientes Covid en el Edomex es de 1%



De acuerdo con los datos de la Red de seguimiento a las Infecciones Respiratorias Agudas Graves (Red IRAG), el porcentaje de ocupación hospitalaria en la entidad pasó en la última semana de 1.6 a 1%.

Son dos meses en que la concentración de pacientes Covid hospitalizados  en el valle de Toluca disminuyeron significativamente, aunque actualmente el Hospital General Dr. Nicolás San Juan, con el 4% de sus camas ocupadas, es el único que tiene pacientes en toda la entidad.

Ninguno de esos pacientes se encuentran en camas con ventilador, y por tanto, ninguno se encuentra grave dentro de las Unidades de Cuidados Intensivos.

El valle de México así como las regiones Norte y Sur, se encuentran sin pacientes en hospitales.

Aunado a ello, de acuerdo con el informe semanal de la Subsecretaría de Prevención y Promoción de la Salud (3 de mayo de 2024 / Semana Epidemiológica 18), en lo que va de este 2024, en la entidad se han presentado en total 5 mil 563 casos entre enfermedades tipo influenza, e infecciones respiratorias agudas graves, de los cuales, 590 han sido positivos a la Covid, representando el 11% del total; sin embargo, se registraron 2 defunciones esta semana, siendo ya, 19 decesos en la entidad durante este año.

“En el acumulado de 2024, al corte de información se han notificado 6,492 casos positivos a la COVID-19 y 273 defunciones por la misma causa”.

Referente a la temporada de influenza estacional 2023-2024, se han confirmado 9 mil 902 casos tipo influenza y otras enfermedades respiratorias, de los cuales 824 casos han sido positivos a influenza; finalmente, hay  un total de 13 decesos.
