Ocupación Hospitalaria por pacientes Covid disminuye en Edomex



En la última semana de acuerdo con los datos de la Red de seguimiento a las Infecciones Respiratorias Agudas Graves (Red IRAG),  el porcentaje de ocupación hospitalaria en la entidad pasó de 3 a 2.6%.

En total, son 5 hospitales que registran pacientes con esta enfermedad, dos más que la semana pasada, por segunda semana consecutiva, todos se encuentran en el valle de Toluca. 

Se trata del Hospital General Regional 220 del IMSS en Toluca, que mantiene por tercera semana la mitad de sus camas ocupadas; el Centro Médico Issemym tiene ocupación de 2%, el Hospital Para El Niño tiene ocupadas el 25% de sus camas, y se sumaron el Hospital General Dr. Nicolás San Juan con el 6%; mientras que el Centro Médico Lic. Adolfo López Mateos tiene el 1% de Ocupación.

Cerca del 2% de esos pacientes se encuentran en camas con ventilador, y ninguno se encuentra grave dentro de las Unidades de Cuidados Intensivos.

El valle de México, así como las regiones Norte y Sur se encuentran sin pacientes en hospitales.

Aunado a ello, de acuerdo con el informe semanal de la Subsecretaría de Prevención y Promoción de la Salud (15 de marzo de 2024 / Semana Epidemiológica 11), en lo que va de 2024, en la entidad se han presentado en total 3 mil 992 casos entre enfermedades tipo influenza, e infecciones respiratorias agudas graves, de los cuales, 447 han sido positivos a la Covid, representando ya el 11% del total; aunado a ello, se registraron 4 decesos, sumando 11 defunciones en este año. 

Referente a la temporada de influenza estacional 2023-2024, se han confirmado 8 mil 300 casos tipo influenza y otras enfermedades respiratorias, de los cuales 602 casos han sido positivos a influenza, y 11 defunciones.
