Inicia operativo educativo para garantizar el retorno seguro a las aulas



Con el objetivo de asegurar un retorno seguro a las aulas después del periodo vacacional, la Secretaría de Seguridad (SS) desplegará el operativo «Regreso a Clases 2024».

La estrategia abarcará toda la entidad y se centrará en la zona sur del estado, incluyendo el municipio de Texcaltitlán, para facilitar el regreso a las actividades educativas de estudiantes y trabajadores de la educación.

El dispositivo, que iniciará a las 05:30 horas del 8 de enero, contará con más de dos mil elementos estatales, 616 unidades, 8 drones, 25 binomios caninos y equinos, así como las 20 mil cámaras de infraestructura estatal. La presencia estratégica busca brindar paz y tranquilidad a la comunidad educativa durante la reactivación en las instituciones educativas.

Según el Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geografía (INEGI), el Estado de México registró una matrícula de cuatro millones 131 mil 404 alumnos y 244 mil 963 docentes durante el ciclo escolar 2022–2023. Ante esta cifra, el plan táctico–operativo se desplegará en 582 centros educativos con vigilancia permanente y en 21 mil 847 escuelas con recorridos de seguridad.

El operativo también incluirá medidas para evitar robos y garantizar la seguridad en las zonas circundantes a las instituciones educativas, con patrullajes motorizados y a pie tierra. La Policía de Tránsito se encargará de implementar dispositivos viales y cortes de circulación para prevenir robos a transeúntes y vehículos, así como la venta de drogas en las áreas cercanas a las escuelas.
