IEEM obligado a realizar una evaluación del proceso electoral local



De acuerdo con la consejera electoral Karina Ivonne Vaquera Montoya, el Instituto Electoral del Estado de México (IEEM) está obligado a realizar una evaluación del proceso electoral de ayuntamientos y diputaciones locales.

“Estamos obligados y obligadas a realizar una evaluación de cómo nos fue en el proceso electoral, qué fue lo que hicimos bien, en qué cosas nos equivocamos quizá, y en qué cosas pues tenemos esto que se le llama ahora áreas de oportunidad, es decir, cuáles son los temas que tendremos que ir abordando en las próximas semanas; con una evaluación muy seria muy consciente de lo que ha implicado el desarrollo de este proceso electoral en el que se renovaron las 125 ayuntamientos y también en la totalidad del Congreso local”.

Recordó que en otros procesos no se ha llevado a cabo una evaluación, por lo que se debe hacer y avanzar para mejorar y seguir organizando elecciones con estándares de calidad.

Aunado a ello, destacó que las actividades en el IEEM no concluyen ya que continúan diferentes medios de impugnación que se han interpuesto por parte de las fuerzas políticas, respecto a los resultados.

Por ello, los órganos desconcentrados del IEEM, es decir, las Juntas y Consejos Municipales, entregan la información que les es requerida, sin embargo, hay Juntas donde no hubo impugnación, por lo que irán cerrando en próximas semanas, lo mismo que aquellas donde vayan concluyendo sus labores.
