Esquizofrenia, depresión; son algunas de las enfermedades mentales que padecen personas en situación de calle



Esquizofrenia, depresión, y perfiles delictivos, son tan solo algunas de las enfermedades mentales que sufren personas en situación de calle, que de acuerdo con el INEGI, son en promedio 5 mil personas. 

Mónica Cortez Ferreira, experta en programación neurolingüística y psicología clínica, indicó que para que una persona llegue a situación de calle, debe pasar por distintos escenarios, uno de ellos el maltrato familiar, en donde sufra de humillaciones, golpes y adicciones. 

Especificó que cuando una persona está en la calle pierde su autoestima, la noción del tiempo, y se despersonaliza, lo que abona a las enfermedades mentales como la depresión y la esquizofrenia. 

Es por ello que la experta indicó que es necesario que las autoridades busquen acercar los servicios de salud mental, a las personas en situación de calle; sin embargo, dijo que al ser un tema estigmatizado, sería complicado. 

Por lo que recomendó que desde la familia, se busque reforzar lazos que permitan que no crezca la cifra de personas en situación de calle.
