En las próximas semanas se enviaran 100 toneladas de víveres a Acapulco






Hasta este miércoles 6 de diciembre el Banco de Alimentos del Estado de México ha entregado al Banco Caritas de Acapulco de 365 toneladas de alimentos no perecederos para ayudar a los damnificados del huracán Otis, sin embargo, como parte del acopio nacional que se está haciendo, en las bodegas de los bancos de Puebla y Toluca todavía hay 100 toneladas, las cuales se enviaran en las próximas dos semanas pasa hacer un total de 460 toneladas.

«La mayoría de lo acopiado se ha entregado a Caritas Acapulco, son 256 toneladas, y a la diócesis de Acapulco, que tiene 26 parroquias y donde los sacerdotes saben quiénes realmente lo necesitan», detalló el director general del Banco en la entidad, Alberto Canul Juárez.

Otros que han sido beneficiados con estos apoyos son la Asociación Gilberto con 42 toneladas, el Club Rotarios con 39, el comedor Carmenare, el cual lleva cocinas a las comunidades y está entregando 100 mil alimentos diarios, y les han dado cinco toneladas; así como a la agrupación Mano a Mano con dos toneladas.

La empresa Shell ha entregado recursos para pagar los trailers que van a entregar los alimentos y envía entre dos y tres unidades a la semana. Algunas de las empresas que se van sumado a la colecta nacional son Nestlé, Tunny, Amazon, Alpura, Kellogg’s, Unilever y Femsa.
