El permanente problema de la movilidad


Pasan los años y no hay quien pueda poner orden a los choferes del transporte público que circulan en las calles de Toluca. Siguen sin respetar el carril asignado para sus vehículos y por lo mismo se pasan al carril de en medio o de la izquierda y se ponen a jugar carreritas entorpeciendo el flujo de automóviles y poniendo en riesgo la integridad de las personas que transportan, las de otros vehículos y las de a pie.

Otro problema es que pasan a la hora que quieren, se detienen en cualquier lugar y a veces no lo hacen aunque les supliques la parada. Asimismo, como circulan de forma arbitraria, algunos van vacíos y otros llenos de pasajeros y no sabes si te tocará sentado o parado y apretujado. El servicio del transporte es además caro, hace mucho ruido y contamina. Falta gestionarlo a partir de la planeación, brindar soluciones y monitorización en vivo.

Tendría que estar a cargo de especialistas en el ramo para vigilar y controlar las operaciones viales. Los habitantes de Toluca nos merecemos un mejor servicio se transporte en la ciudad, que nos den ganas de usarlo. El tipo de transporte, las unidades de desplazamiento, la asignación de rutas y los tiempos de recorrido son modelo en otras ciudades de América, Europa y Asia por mencionar algunos.

Transportar a la gente es tema de todos los días y lo seguirá siendo y resuelve problemas como el tráfico vehicular, la contaminación ambiental, el tiempo y viajes puntuales de los usuarios, el ruido, y el estrés y ansiedad. La movilidad es un tema fundamental para Toluca.
