El clima en Toluca no ha rebasado las temperaturas máximas históricas 



De acuerdo con información del Museo Observatorio Meteorológico Universitario de la UAEM, se registraron temperaturas altas durante invierno pero sin superar las máximas históricas.

Emilio Rangel, encargado del museo observatorio meteorológico, mencionó que los meses de diciembre, enero y febrero son los meses que estadísticamente se consideran meses de invierno.

Las temperaturas más altas registradas durante esta temporada invernal fueron en febrero que registró 21.5°C de temperatura promedio máximo que en comparación al año pasado, en febrero se registraron 20.6°C, un grado menos que este año, temperaturas que se consideran normales para febrero. 

En el caso de marzo, siendo el primer mes de primavera, el año pasado se registraron 22.3°C, un grado abajo respecto a marzo de este año con 23°C, esta diferencia responde a la falta de lluvias ya que durante febrero y marzo de 2024 no se registraron lluvias. 

Por otro lado, se ha observado que en invierno hay menos días con heladas o con temperaturas menores a 3°C, lo que lleva a qué los inviernos en Toluca no sean más cálidos, sino inviernos menos fríos. Fue en diciembre que se registró la temperatura más baja con 3° bajo cero cuando el histórico es de -15°C registrado en 1986.
