Ante llegada de día de muertos productores de velas innovan sus productos 



Cada año productores de velas en el Estado de México, buscan innovar en su producción, de cara a la celebración de Día de Muertos. 

Tal es el caso de Carolina Alejandro Vilchis, Fundadora de Manos de Luz, una empresa dedicada a la elaboración de velas aromáticas, que a unos días de la celebración de Día de Muertos, llevó a cabo una serie de velas que incluyen pan de muerto, comida y flores de cempasuchitl.

Son velas hechas a base de soya, endurecedor y se hacen de forma orgánica; de ahí que a través de los años el arte de la cerería en el territorio mexiquense, crezca derivado del talento , creatividad y habilidades que tienen las y los artesanos del Estado de México.  

El SET, de tres velas tiene un costo de 370 pesos, ya que se trata de velas decorativas y  aromáticas, lo que a decir de los artesanos ha permitido extender los campos de venta.

Datos del Gobierno del Estado de México, indican que en el Estado de México los municipios de Ayapango y Metepec, destacan por la elaboración de estos productos.
