Jennifer’s the word.
Ben Affleck gushed over his ex-wife Jennifer Garner in his GQ April 2025 cover story published Tuesday, after the former couple reunited for a cozy paintball outing earlier this month.
“I’m really lucky that I have a really good co-parent and partner in Jennifer Garner, the kids’ mom, who’s wonderful and great and we work together well,” Affleck said about the “Elektra” actress, 52, with whom he shares kids Violet, 19, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, 13.
Affleck recalled how the exes — who separated in 2015 after 10 years of marriage — dealt with the tabloids during their relationship.
“We used to have a thing, my ex-wife and I, when they would see something on a supermarket stand, we would say, well, ‘You know this isn’t always true because if it were, you would have 15 brothers or sisters or whatever the number of stories is where they said that your mom was pregnant,’” he shared.
The “Argo” actor also complained that it’s “absurd and ridiculous” that he’s photographed by the paparazzi on a daily basis.
“There’s nothing newsworthy at all about the day-to-day events of my life or the conversation I have with one person or another person that’s photographed,” he explained, adding, “What I’ve ended up focusing on is: Look, I know what’s going on in my life. And also, really more importantly, my kids know.”
“It’s more of a headache than anything else and there certainly are worse things,” he added of his life being tabloid fodder.
Following his divorce from Jennifer Lopez, whom Affleck said he has “nothing but respect” for in the GQ interview, the Oscar winner has been spending more time with the mother of his children.
On March 2, Affleck and Garner were together at Samuel’s birthday party at Combat Paintball Park in Castaic, Calif.
In photos from the outing, Affleck pulled Garner in toward him, and she appeared to welcome the embrace. The exes stayed close on the paintball field as they laughed and chatted, while Samuel went off with his friends.
Months earlier, Affleck and Garner celebrated Thanksgiving together as a family. Affleck was also invited to celebrate Christmas at Garner’s home.
Garner has been dating businessman John Miller since 2018.
Affleck, meanwhile, has seemingly been single since his split from Lopez, 55. The singer filed for divorce in Aug. 2024 and they finalized the divorce after two years of marriage earlier this year.
Following Affleck and Garner’s cozy paintball outing, a source told Page Six that Lopez is allegedly “furious” over “constantly seeing photos” of her ex with his first wife.
Meanwhile, a source told People that amid his frequent hangouts with Garner, Affleck seems “extra giddy lately and much more affectionate.”
“She doesn’t seem to mind. She seems to enjoy spending time with Ben,” the insider added of Garner.
